Cody Nichelson for retroProm King 2025!
Cody Nichelson and his husband, Ben, are grateful to call Athens their home. They live in the Newtown neighborhood with their three rescue dogs: Delilah, Finn, and Chance. Together, they founded and operate Fully Financial, a local financial planning and investment management firm in Downtown Athens.
Originally from Rockmart, Ga., Cody moved to Athens to attend UGA and never looked back—15 years later, he’s still rooted in the Classic City. He’s deeply involved in the community, serving on the boards of Athens Area Habitat for Humanity and Athens Pride + Queer Collective, and mentoring student leaders through Kiwanis. A devoted Dawgs fan and coffee lover, Cody was part of LEAD Athens (’23) and was named to Athens’ Top 10 Under 40 in 2023.
Cody’s passion for ACCA’s mission is personal. His mom, a longtime home health nurse, instilled in him the importance of quality care as we age. His grandmother, Nanny, was one of his closest friends and biggest supporters. Losing her too soon at 58 reinforced his belief in the life-changing impact of resources like those ACCA provides—ensuring that more older adults can live longer, healthier lives.
